Deleting a user account

To delete a user account:

1. Click the Edit Mode icon () to enter edit mode.
2. In the upper right corner of the edit toolbar, click the User Management icon:

   The Manage User Rights dialog is displayed:

   

   The Manage User Rights dialog lists all the users that were created through Oracle Instant Portal. If you have more than one portal instance, those users are listed here as well.

3. In the Users pane, scroll down until you see the user account you want to delete.
4. Click the trash can icon, which appears to the right of the user name:

   

5. Respond to the confirmation dialog.
6. Click OK to exit the dialog.

Notes

• Only the Oracle Instant Portal administrator can delete user accounts.
• Only the user account is deleted. The pages and items the user created or contributed to remain intact.
• You cannot delete your own account.
