Attributes

Field Description
Create New... Click Attribute to create a new attribute.
Find

Use the Find field to locate a particular page group object.

Example: If you are searching for a category called Customer Care and you're not sure which page group it belongs to, you can simply enter Customer Care in the Find field and click Go.

Note: You cannot limit the search to a particular object type. This means that if you are searching for a particular page, the search returns every page group object that matches the text you enter in the Find field: pages, templates, styles, and so on.

Path

Displays your current location within the Navigator. In this case, Page Groups > PageGroupDisplayName > Attributes.

Click a link in the path to move to a higher level in the Page Groups tab.

Type Displays the type of the page group object, in this case, Attribute.
Name Displays the name of the attribute. Click to edit the properties of the attribute.
Actions

Click:

  • Edit to edit the properties of the attribute.

  • Delete to delete the attribute. This deletes the attribute and its values from all item types, page types, items, pages, and procedure calls that reference the attribute.

  • Promote to promote the attribute from the current page group to the Shared Objects page group. This makes the attribute available across all page groups.

  • Export to add the attribute to a new or existing transport set for export.

Note: You can only see the actions that you are authorized to perform. If you do not see a particular action listed, you do not have the page group privileges to perform that action.

Owner Displays the name of the user who created the attribute.
Modified Displays the date on which the attribute was last edited.
