Use this page to delete or export multiple categories.

Field Descriptions

Category

Field	Description
Delete	After selecting multiple categories, click Delete to delete the categories. Note: When you delete a category, all of the pages and items that are assigned to the category are reassigned to the parent category. If there is no parent category, the pages and items are reassigned to the General category. If you delete the parent category as well, all pages and items are reassigned to the General category.
Export	After selecting multiple categories, click Export to add the categories to a new or existing transport set for export. Note: When you export a category, all of its sub-categories are also exported, as are the category and sub-category pages and the styles that those pages reference.
Display Name	Displays the descriptive name of the category.
Author	Displays the name of the user who created the category.
Date Updated	Displays the date on which the category was last updated.
Path	Displays the path of the category.

Notes

To select all categories, select the check box next to the Display Name column heading.
If an object does not include a check box, you do not have permission to perform an action on the object.

Locating this Page

Click the Navigator link, then click the Page Groups tab.
At the top level, click the link for the page group with which you want to work.
Click the Categories link.
Click the actions link.

Tips:

A Navigator link can appear on any page. By default, you can find this link on the Portal Builder page.
Click Page Groups in the Path links to get to the top level of the Page Groups Navigator.
