Use this page to specify the basic properties of the page group, such as its name, display name, and quota.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Edit the name of the page group. The name can be used in a URL to directly access the page group. Direct access URLs take the following format:
For example:
Note: The name must be unique, and is limited to 60 characters. The name can contain only alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) and the underscore character (_); spaces and other special characters are not allowed. |
| Display Name | Edit the descriptive display name of the page group. Note: The display name can contain up to 256 characters. |
| Contact E-mail | Enter the e-mail address of the person users should contact with questions about the page group. Typically this will be the page group administrator. Example: Note: You can add a link to this e-mail address to your pages by adding a Contact Portal Smart Link. If a page contact has been designated for a page, the page contact e-mail address is displayed in that page instead of the page group contact e-mail address. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Total document storage quota | Select:
Note: Even if you do not specify a limit for the page group, the portal administrator may have specified a global limit for uploaded documents. |

If you select this option, the parent page settings are used for properties such as banner, style, and template instead of the page group's defaults. If you do not select this check box, sub-pages will still use the page group's default settings for certain properties (for example, banner, style, and template). |
For more information go to the documentation section of Portal Center.
From the Page Groups portlet's Page Group list, choose the page group that you want to edit, then click Edit.
Tip: By default the Page Groups portlet is located on the Build tab of the Portal Builder page.
