Use this page to grant privileges that enable other Oracle database users (also known as schemas) and database roles to perform actions on an object. To grant a privilege, enter a Grantee, select a Privilege, then click Add.
To
grant privileges on an object to another database user or role, you must have
Manage access privileges on the schema that
owns the object.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| User/Role | Enter a database user
or role to whom you want to grant privileges. Click Note: To grant a privilege to all database users, choose Public. |
| Privilege | Select one or more object-level privileges. Privileges granted with the With Grant Option are shown in bold text. |
| With Grant Option | Select to enable the database user to grant access object privileges to other users or roles. Note: You can assign the With Grant Option to database users or Public, but not to database roles. |
| Add to List | Click to assign the privilege to the database user or role. The new privilege displays in the Revoke privileges list at the bottom of the page. |

| Type | Displays the user type, either a Oracle database user or role. |
| Privilege | Displays the type of privilege. |
