Java Class: Owning Schema

Use this page to choose the schema where the Java .class file will be stored. When you compile a file with the extension .java, the compiler creates a corresponding .class file for each class you define.

Field Description
Schema Choose a schema where the Java .class file will be stored. Only schemas in which you have Manage schema access privileges display in the list.

  1. On the Portal Builder page, click the Navigator link.
  2. Click the Database Objects tab.
  3. In the Name column, scroll down to the schema in which you want to build the object.
  4. Click the schema's name.
  5. Click Create New...Java Object.
  6. Click Java Class.
