Java Resource: Schema and Resource Name

Use this page to name the Java resource and specify the database schema where the resource will be stored. A Java resource is a collection of files compressed in a .jar file.

Field Description
Schema Enter the name of the database schema where you want to store the uploaded .jar file. Only schemas in which you have Manage schema access privileges display in the list.
Java Resource Name Enter a name that will identify the Java resource in the database.

  1. On the Portal Builder page, click the Navigator link.
  2. Click the Database Objects tab.
  3. In the Name column, scroll down to the schema in which you want to build the object.
  4. Click the schema's name.
  5. Click Create New...Java Object.
  6. Click Java Resource.
