Procedure: Schema and Procedure Name

Use this page to choose a name for the procedure and the schema that will own it. A procedure is a subprogram that performs a specific action.

Field Description
Schema Choose the schema that will own the finished procedure. Only schemas in which you have Manage schema access privileges display in the list.
Procedure Name Enter the name you want to use to identify the procedure.

  1. On the Portal Builder page, click the Navigator link.
  2. Click the Database Objects tab.
  3. In the Name column, scroll down to the schema in which you want to build the object.
  4. Click the schema's name.
  5. Click Create New...Procedure.
