Customize Mobile Page

Use this page to control the content that is displayed on your personal version of the page. Depending on your privileges, you can add new portlets, delete, hide, or move existing content, customize existing portlets, and add new levels to increase the amount of content the page can display.

The changes that you make are visible only to you. Other users of the page can not view them.

If a portlet, item, or level's name is gray, this means that it is currently hidden and does not appear when viewing the page. If a portlet or tab is hidden, you can still perform other actions on it, such as show, delete, or move.

Field Descriptions

Field	Description
Remove My Page Customizations	Click to restore the page to the default page. All your customizations are removed, no matter how long ago they were made. Notes: The Remove My Page Customizations appears only if you customize the top level of the page. If you made customizations to other levels and want to remove them, you should first make a customization at the top level of the page. After you have made this customization, you should see the link, which you can then click to remove all the customizations on the page. You cannot reset customizations for an individual level, only for the page as a whole.

Buttons for actions on multiple objects

Field	Description
Show	To show a hidden portlet, item, or level, select the check box next to its name and click Show. You can select multiple portlets, items, and levels for showing.
Hide	To hide a portlet, item, or level, select the check box next to its name and click Hide. You can select multiple portlets, items, and levels for hiding. Note: Hiding a portlet, item, or level does not remove it from the page, but merely prevents it from displaying when you view the page. You will still be able to see the portlet, item, or level in the customize page, where you can choose to show the portlet, item, or tab again. Hidden portlets, items, and levels are grayed out in the customize page.
Delete	To delete a portlet, item, or level, select the check box next to its name and click Delete. A confirmation screen is displayed where you can choose to continue or cancel the deletion. You can select multiple portlets, items, and levels for deleting. Note: If you delete a level, you will not have the opportunity to relocate the level's content to another level, so be sure to do so before clicking Delete.
Move	To move a portlet, item, or level to a different position in the page, select the check box next to its name and click Move. A screen is displayed in which you can select the position where you want to move the portlet, item, or level. You can select multiple portlets, items, and levels for moving. Note: This is different from the rearrange icon. The Move action allows you to select items, portlets, and tabs from different levels and move them around. The rearrange icon allows you to move items, portlets, and tabs within a particular level.

Field	Description
checkbox	Select to perform an action (Hide, Show, Move, Delete) on this level.
	Click to add one or more portlets to the page. After you add a portlet, a header containing the portlet name appears within the page. Note: You can only add portlets that are viewable on mobile devices.
	Click to rearrange the content within a particular level. Note: This is different from the Move action. The Move action allows you to select items, portlets, and tabs from different levels and move them around. The rearrange icon allows you to move items, portlets, and tabs within a particular level.
	Click to add a level to the page. Levels allow you to increase the amount of content your page can display without cluttering up the page. When viewing the page, you can click a level to drill down and access its contents.

Field	Description
checkbox	Select to perform an action (Hide, Show, Move, Delete) on this item or portlet.
Customize	Click to customize the settings of the portlet.

Locating this Page

In the Page Groups portlet, under Edit a Page, click next to the Name field.
Select the mobile page from the list provided, then click View.
Click the Customize link.

Tip: By default the Page Groups portlet is located on the Build tab of the Portal Builder page.
