What is Oracle Reports Security?

Oracle Reports Security allows you to define access to Oracle Reports components, including Reports Servers, report definition files, printers, and availability calendars. Before you can define access controls for a Reports Server, report definition files, or printer, you must register your Oracle Reports components in OracleAS Portal.

To register components and define access, you must log in as an administrator to OracleAS Portal, then navigate to the Oracle Reports Security portlet.

For steps to perform these tasks, refer to the chapter "Deploying Reports in OracleAS Portal" in the OracleAS Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web manual.
