Use this page to change the name of a tab, or to supply images for a tab.
If
you want to activate the rollover effectthat is, switching between active
and inactive images as the cursor moves over the tabsbe sure the Use
Rollover Effect For Tab Images check box is checked in the Edit Region
(Tabs) Main tab. To get to this page, click
in the region containing the tabs.

| Name | Enter a name to identify the tab within OracleAS Portal. Whether you enter this text in upper- or lowercase, OracleAS Portal automatically capitalizes it. OracleAS Portal uses this name in the formation of direct access (or "pretty") URLs. To verify the name OracleAS Portal will recognize in a direct access URL, add an item to the tab, and note the tab name in the Add Item Wizard's Path information. Note: The name must be unique.
It is limited to 40 characters, and can include alphanumeric characters
(A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9), spaces, and the following special characters: |
| Display Name | Enter a descriptive display name for the tab. Note: The display name is limited to 40 characters. |
| Active Tab Image | Enter the path and file name of the image to use when the tab is currently selected (i.e., the active tab). Only one tab within a tab set may be active at a time. Click Browse to locate the image if you are not sure of its path or file name. When you click Apply or OK, the file is uploaded to the database. Example: You might want to create a set of tabs that looks something like this: Notes:

| Inactive Tab Image | Enter the path and file name of the image to use when the tab is not active. Typically, the inactive tab image contains the same text or image as the active tab image, but appears in a different color. Click Browse to locate the image if you are not sure of its path or file name. When you click Apply or OK, the file is uploaded to the database. |

This icon displays on each tab in a tab set as well as to the right of the tab set. Click the one that is on the tab.
