What is the Set Language portlet?

Use this portlet to set the language to use for your portal session. If the territory feature is enabled, you can also set your geographical location (territory) so that localization settings such as date, currency, and decimal formats are displayed correctly.

Note: If the territory feature has not been enabled, the territory is defaulted to the most common for your chosen language. If you are in a different territory, you might notice that some of the localization settings are different from what you would expect.
