Use this portlet to create or edit access to a report definition file in OracleAS Portal. When you set up report access in OracleAS Portal, you define:
Who has access privileges to run a particular report
For more information about report definition files, refer to the Oracle Reports online Help.

To define a Reports Server in OracleAS Portal, click Oracle Reports Security Settings (on Administer tab of Portal Builder Page), then Create Reports Server Access.
All users, by default, are members of RW_BASIC_USER. Your OracleAS Portal Administrator is responsible for adding users to the other groups (which carry higher access privileges). For an explanation of the privileges assigned to each of these groups, refer to the OracleAS Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web manual.
If you want to restrict the days and times this report definition file is available to run, then an availability calendar must be defined. Click Oracle Reports Security Settings (on Administer tab of Portal Builder page), and then either Create Reports Simple Calendar Access or Create Reports Combined Calendar Access.

Tip: By default, the Oracle Reports Security portlet is located on the Portal sub-tab of the Administer tab on the Portal Builder page.
