Edit Defaults: Advanced Search

Use this page to change the title of the Advanced Search portlet and determine whether users can choose which page groups are searched.

Advanced Search Portlet Settings

Field Description
Portlet Header Title Enter a title to be displayed in the portlet header. The default is Advanced Search.
Show page group selector

Select whether users of this Advanced Search portlet can choose which page groups are included in a search. If this option is selected, the user may select one or more page groups from a list:

If you do not select this option, all page groups are searched.

If you choose not to display this field and the user does not restrict the search to one or more pages, all page groups are searched.

  1. Open the page containing the Advanced Search portlet.
  2. Click Actions icon(Actions) beside the portlet.
  3. Click Edit Defaults.

Tip: Display the page in Edit mode.
