Use this page to define the approval process for items on the page.
| Field | Description |

| Inherit the Approval Process from the Page Group | Choose this to have the page use the approval process defined for the page group. |
| Define a New Approval Process for the Page | Choose this to define a new approval process for the page. The Approval Routing List section appears. Note: If you select this option and then do not define an approval process for the page, users with the Manage Items With Approval privilege will be able to add items to the page without requiring approval. |

| Approvers | Select one or more approvers (users
or groups) for each step of the approval routing list. Click Notes:

| Routing Method for Approvers | Choose a routing method for each step of the approval routing list:

| Add Step (button) | Click to add additional steps to the approval routing list. For each step, select approvers and a routing method. |
| Update Step (button) | Click to apply any changes you made to the approval step. Note: This button is available only when you are editing a step in the current approval process. |

If a user or group is deleted from the portal, any pending items requiring that user or group's approval will need to be approved or rejected by the page owner or page group administrator. In the approval step, the deleted user will be listed as 'User no longer exists.'
Because Oracle Internet Directory (OID) can include multiple directory containers that use the same group names, the distinguished name (DN) is displayed next to any group that does not belong to the local OracleAS Portal instance.
