Edit Portal Group Profile: Privileges

Use this page to set global group privileges that pertain specifically to the portal. This page determines the level of global access for each object type. By default, everyone in the group has the specified privilege level for all objects of a given type

For example, if the group STYLES is granted Manage privileges for All Providers under Page Privileges, then everyone in that group has Manage privileges for every page style within OracleAS Portal. You cannot revoke privileges for a single member of the group.

  1. In the Portal Group Profile portlet, enter the name of the group you want to edit, then click Edit.
  2. Click the Privileges tab.

Tip: By default, the Portal Group Profile portlet is located on the Portal tab on the Administer tab of the Portal Builder page.
