Use this page to set global group privileges that pertain specifically to the portal. This page determines the level of global access for each object type. By default, everyone in the group has the specified privilege level for all objects of a given type
For example, if the group STYLES is granted Manage privileges for All Providers under Page Privileges, then everyone in that group has Manage privileges for every page style within OracleAS Portal. You cannot revoke privileges for a single member of the group.
Each privilege in the list includes all privileges below it. For example, if a user can manage page styles, he or she can also view, publish, and create page styles.
The Manage privilege allows a user to manage objects of a given type and also to grant the privilege to other users/groups.
If the Create privilege for an object type is not expressly granted to a user, either here or through the User Profile portlet, the user can not create an object of that type.
None means that no privilege has been granted for this object type. Without it, each user/group would have to be granted a privilege for each object type, which can be time consuming.
For more information go to the documentation section of Portal Center.
Tip: By default, the Portal Group Profile portlet is located on the Portal tab on the Administer tab of the Portal Builder page.
